We’re very excited to announce that one of our team members, Danetha Doe, was recently named a “40 Under 40” honoree by CPA Practice Advisor. Each year, CPA Practice Advisor compiles the list based on popular vote to recognize people who are the most integral, “best and brightest” individuals leading the accounting profession into the future. Danetha is in good company on the list, with other honorees coming from places like Intuit, Wolters Kluwer and Thomson Reuters.
Danetha joined Libra in 2014. She hosts the #FutureofMoney, a weekly video series where she interviews leading thinkers and innovators about the positive global impacts of digital currency. She is a key individual on our team, helping establish strategic partnerships and also driving growth between Libra and various accounting / fintech communities.
In addition to working at Libra, Danetha is also the co-president of the Future of Accounting, a professional community of more than 300 accountants and software developers in San Francisco. As an accomplished speaker and writer, she has also been featured on Huffington Post Live with Suze Orman, Mind Body Green, YFS Magazines, and other media for her business accomplishments and expertise in cloud accounting. Her photo also graces billboards throughout California’s Bay Area as a brand ambassador for Bike East Bay. In 2014, she was also named “business influencer/next-generation accountant” by Quickbooks and Xero.
As a passionate philanthropist, Danetha assists the Renaissance Entrepreneurship Center with business coaching, helping underserved communities build successful businesses. She also serves on the social media committee for the Financial Women of San Francisco.
